I need a room of my own where I can sit naked and listen to old records that my husband doesn't want to listen to.....
...maybe a pink boudoir where I -if I get to cold after listening to records naked- can put on my fur coat and do my makeup and my hair and throw my shoes all over the floor and where there's actually room for all of my clothes.
I've just learned that the word Boudoir comes from the French verb
bouder, which means "to pout" or to "to sulk". So, a woman who was feeling sulky or indisposed could retire to her
boudoir or "sulking room.
I definitely need a boudoir!!!
I received a delayed birthday present yesterday -a big Moomin book with the first three novels in it.
