I was searching for Spring today... just a little glimpse, a feeling... There was nothing outside so I looked inside our home. My flowers! Ahhh...

..and then the sun came out! Halleluja!!!

 I decided it was time to take my bedjackets out of the closet, they haven't seen the sun in Months -and they all look like flowers...

Much better now....

Millinery

One of my favorite Ebay finds from 2010... a DIY millinery book! I believe it was first published in 1944 but my version is from 1948... I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this book! It has so many great ideas, instructions and patterns -not to mention the beautiful illustrations...

One of the first jewelry pieces I ever owned.. (I guess that makes it vintage;) A silver charm bracelet that I wore a lot as a child and once in a while as an adult... The high heel shoes are the newest edition.. vintage 40's.. with bows!!!
