I found my old cigarette case the other day. I don't really smoke cigarettes anymore except once in a blue moon at a party.... but I do love the old glamour of smoking -and the smoking cigarette girls!

Animal test..

My daughter gave me a test the other day. She asked me to name three of my favorite animals starting with the one I loved the most and explain why...
I said...

Number one: Cat...
Because it's gracious, clean and has a will of it's own..



Number two: Fawn.. or Bambi...
It's big eyed, skinny legged, fragile and sooo quiet...




Number three: Barn Swallow...
It's beautiful, fast and travels many, many miles to go away for the winter but always returns home again in my favorite month of May...




She then told me that the first animal's qualities represent what I want others to think of me...

-the other is how people see me...

-and the third is how I really am...

I though it was a cute test and it gave me a little food for thought..

Especially since the overall plan my husband and I are working on is to travel out and live in a warmer climate every year during the winter... like the swallow...

I grew up in the countryside and we had swallows in the horsestables, they came back in May almost at the same date every year! -and when Denmark chose their national bird (sometime in the 80's) I was sure it was gonna be the swallow and I was very dissapointed when the swan was chosen...


The first tattoo I got was a swallow..

The second was Disney's Bambi..

-and I'm getting a kitten in a week!

The missing photo....

I have a regret regarding my wedding -not my marriage or my husband just the wedding! Actually I have a few but I'll rather have a great marriage and a lousy wedding than the other way around, right?

We got married excatly a year and a half ago today at 'The Little White Wedding Chapel' in Vegas at the drive thru window. There were only the two of us, nothing fancy, no flowers, no rings, no photos, only love... (my old, borrowed and blue was my father-in-laws old, blue car..)


I'm hoping we'll have a proper wedding party someday for our friends and family -with a beautiful dress for me, a huge cake, rings for the both of us and a great wedding photo off course! I really miss not having a picture to look at and reminiscence...
So I've developed an obsession with other peoples wedding photos, I will post my grandparents wedding photos later on, they're a dream! In the mean time here are some of my favorite celebrities getting married.... and like most of them maybe I'll have more than one wedding -hopefully with the same man though...

Just thought this was relevant since I'm getting that tattoo I was writing about in a few weeks and all the inspiration helped...
I will post photos of the tattoo as soon as it's mine...
(Hope I will be able to get a real kitten too someday...)

-and I really want a kitten in some sort of outfit 'cause I love dressed-up animals ...not in real life though only in pictures...
