John Willie

I feel very inspired by John Willie's illustrations today
I really want this book...

John Willie is a pseudonym used by John Alexander Scott Coutts.
He is best known for his artwork in 'Bizarre', a highly collectible fetish magazine he created in the the 40's and 50's.

He also invented the G-string tie... Here's some instructions if you should feel the need...

This movie has some of the most gorgeus costumes.. and a beautiful bizarre make up song...
Starring Betty Grable and June Haver... bla, bla, bla.. Just see it!
(It also makes me want to go platinum blonde again...)

Toodles

Another of my favorite cartoon characters... Toodles!

Toodles is Tom's love intrest in many Tom & Jerry cartoons... here in "Casanova Cat"
Tom tries to catch her attention in many ways... Sometimes he succeeds..

Toodles was inpired by Lana Turner..
..actually by her character Bunny from "The Waldorf Bunny"

I espicially love the way she's drawn in "Springtime for Thomas"

Kiss, kiss!
